Spellcasting is a live presentation by a real practicing witch. She will take you through all the steps of a ritual circle from creating sacred space, to magical working to releasing your spells. Participation is welcomed. What we call infotainment. So come enter the temple. Followed by Q + A time permitting.
Salem Witch Village

The Salem Witch Village is a 15 min guided tour concerning the myth versus the reality of witchcraft in both the ancient and modern world. Your tour guide, who is also a practicing witch, will take you through our indoor maze and demonstrate scenes that mark important landmarks in Witchcraft history. The tour discusses the origin of stereotypes such as devil worship, flying on brooms and black cats, different persecution periods such as the Salem Witch Trials and the Burning Times of Europe as well clarifies what it really means to be a witch today.

Visit New England’s oldest wooden mansion built in 1668.  The House of the Seven Gables offers guided tours through the Turner-Ingersoll mansion, where surprises including colorful Georgian interiors and a climb up the secret staircase await.  Admission also includes a visit to The Nathaniel Hawthorne House, the birthplace of the author of “The House of the Seven Gables”, a stroll through seaside gardens and a visit to the museum store located in a home dating to 1655.

In 1692 the Salem Witch Trials wrought havoc on a small New England Community. Meet Judge John Hathorne, Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Great-Great Grandfather, the Hanging Judge.  Enter the prosecutor’s chamber, and experience the witchcraft trials of 1692 through the true stories of those condemned.  This interactive theater experience takes place in The Nathaniel Hawthorne House on the grounds of The House of the Seven Gables.  Shows run continuously and are approximately 35 minutes long.  Reservations are highly recommended.

Witches Cottage
